And, indeed, building houses is the most visible expression of what we do. When you think about it, though, constructing houses is the easy part. Building materials don't have histories, personal feelings, and reactions. Habitat for Humanity is really in the business of helping people construct new lives. The goals of Herkimer County Habitat for Humanity are to help individuals and families develop themselves and their communities through home ownership and for people of diverse backgrounds throughout our region to work together to accomplish this goal.
